About SM Test
SM Test is adult entertainment built around one cheeky question: do you hold the rope, or want to be tied up in it? And it answers it with nothing but ordinary personality questions.

What it is
Someone who runs every meeting may, on their own, quietly wish someone would put a collar on them and make every decision. The face you show and the desire you feel do not always match.
We call the play style others see in you your Outer face, and the desire you feel your Inner face, and we read each on the same axes. The top-level split is S (top) or M (bottom); add what turns you on (mind or body), your temperature (sweet or cold), and your pace (ritual or wild) and you get 16 kink types. 16 Outer types × 16 Inner types make 256 pairs, and the Inner face’s brake setting (V = Volatile or K = Keel) doubles that to 512 possible results. Your result shows the two side by side, along with the gap between them.
The type write-ups do not beat around the bush: the toys, how to tie or strike, the orders and lines that land, and how a whole scene flows, at the level of an adult how-to guide. What we do not depict is sex itself, genitals or bodily fluids. Every kink is written as play between consenting adults.
How it measures
None of the questions are sexual. They are ordinary personality questions adapted from the International Personality Item Pool (IPIP), a public-domain collection widely used in personality research. We read the tendencies in your answers as kinks, just for fun.
You answer on a 7-point scale, and each next question is chosen based on your answers so far (adaptive testing). The Outer section ends once the estimate is precise enough, so it takes anywhere from 24 to 40 questions. The Inner section has 20.
Results are not either-or labels but continuous values showing how far you lean on each axis. When the lean is small relative to the uncertainty of the estimate, we show the axis as a border instead of picking a side.
How we run it
- Adults (18+) only. We ask you to confirm your age on your first visit.
- Entertainment, not a diagnosis. It is not a medical or psychological assessment, and it does not determine sexual orientation or consent.
- Consent first. If you try anything for real, consent, limits agreed in advance, a safeword, and aftercare are non-negotiable. For risky play such as pain, bondage, suspension or consensual non-consent, each write-up spells out the safety essentials.
- What we never write: minors or age play, animals, incest, scat, blood or blades, drugs, choking or breath play (it can kill), anything glorifying non-consent, or encouragement of actual public indecency (exhibitionism is written as fantasy or among consenting people only).
- No ads or outbound links while you are answering.
Anonymity
You do not need a name, email address, or account to take the test. We store answers and results only in a form that does not identify you, and we do not store IP addresses in our database.
You can delete your result page yourself at any time. Our Privacy Policy lists exactly what we store and what we do not.
