The Five Kink Axes: From S/M to the Brakes
The SM Test axes are the five yardsticks used to describe your kinks: S or M, turn-on, temperature, pace and brakes. The questions are ordinary personality questions, and the leanings in your answers are reread as kink axes. The first four are measured for both your outer face (the play style others see) and your inner face (your desires when you fantasize alone); the fifth, the brakes, only for the inner face. Here is what each axis means, what its two poles look like, what the questions actually measure, and how that relates to the Big Five.
- A1S or MDo you give the orders, or kneel for them? This is the biggest fork in the SM Test.
- A2Turn-onThis axis is about where the spark catches.
- A3TemperatureThis axis is about the temperature of the game.
- A4PaceThis axis is about whether you train it in slowly or catch fire on the spot.
- A5BrakesThis axis is about how well your brakes work once desire catches fire.
What is your kink type?
From ordinary personality questions, we expose your Outer face (the play style others see) and your Inner face (the craving you keep to yourself) on the same axes. Holding the rope or tied up in it? Doing the teasing or begging for it? Adults only (18+), free, no sign-up, about 3 minutes for the quick test.
