A place to peek at how everyone’s kinks are spread out. No individual results here — only overall shares, refreshed once a day. That is as voyeuristic as it gets.
Where things stand
0
Collecting data (0 so far — the measured distribution is published at 1,000)
Until we reach 1,000, the “rarity” on result pages uses theoretical values.

Few people sit in the middle
Look at a single axis and one person in two is near the middle (the central half of everyone). Add more axes, and the share who are near the middle on every one of them halves each time.
Near the middle on all four axes? In theory, only one person in sixteen. Most people lean clearly to one side somewhere — so the person who insists they are “totally vanilla” may actually be the rare one.
Real people do not always spread out the way theory says, and the axes can move together a little. That is why, once we have 1,000 responses, rarity switches from theory to the measured distribution.
“Near the middle” means falling in the central half of everyone on that axis, assuming the axes are unrelated.
Share of each of the 16 kink types
Share of each Outer kink type (measured).
Published once there are more than 1,000 valid responses.
The dotted line marks where each type would be if all 16 were equally common (1 in 16).
Share of each Outer–Inner gap
Among people who also answered the Inner-face questions, the share of each gap pattern (measured).
Published once more than 1,000 people have answered the Inner-face questions (– so far).
The dotted line marks where each pattern would be if all were equally common.
How the data is handled
- Only results from people who agreed to statistical use are counted.
- Responses flagged by quality checks (very fast answers, long runs of the same answer) are excluded.
- Retakes from the same device are not counted.
- Only results at full-test precision are used (quick-test results are left out).
- Deleted results drop out from the next update.
- Only aggregate shares and counts are published, refreshed once a day around 18:00 UTC.
